Bambini Models Australia was founded in 1995 and Elite Kids Melbourne was founded in 2001 by former international model and mother of three, Lee McDermott. Lee started modelling as a child at the age of six and continued to model internationally as an adult with contracts in Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, Germany and Paris. At the age of twenty five, after managing another childrens agency for three years, Lee decided to open Bambini after seeing a large gap in the marketplace for child models. With almost twenty years experience in the industry, Lee has a deep understanding of how the modelling industry works and makes it a priority that all children on Bambini's books are looked after with the utmost care. 
 
Bambini Models Australia started in NSW and opened its first interstate branch in Queensland in 2000. Elite Kids Melbourne, a division of Bambini Models Australia Pty Ltd, opened in Melbourne in 2001. In 2004 Bambini Models and Elite Kids have taken on a new strategic investor with an excellent capital base and this involvement allows us to enhance our product offering with new expanded services and facilities to our members
