Dr. Anoop Rastogi - Cosmetic Surgeon in Brisbane.

r Rastogi graduated from the University of Newcastle Medical School in 1989. He undertook his surgical residency at RNH and HAHS. He later travelled overseas where he completed his advanced training in Cosmetic Surgery. 
 
Dr Rastogi trained in Rome, Paris and Cambridge under world experts, including Dr Georgio Fischer, the father of Liposuction, Dr Jean Luc Bachelier, Dr. Pierre Fornier, and Dr Anthony Erian. His training involved over 2000 cosmetic surgical procedures. He also attended the prestigious Nuffield House, Private Cosmetic Surgery Unit of Guys Hospital, London. 
 
Dr Rastogi is Fellow of the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery and is College registered in Liposculpture, Breast Augmentation, Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Cosmetic Medicine. Dr. Rastogi is the former Director of the Registrar Training Programme and Chairman of the Academic Sub Committee of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery. He is also a member of the Ethics Committee of the College. 
 
He has been an invited speaker at several National and International Medical Conferences and is Cosmetic Surgery adviser to "Good Medicine" NineMSN, Australian Cosmetic Surgery Magazine and various other media groups. 
 
The Practice  
 
Dr Rastogi has performed over 1000 procedures and has a busy practice in Sydney's Double Bay where he sees patients from all over Australia and around the World. His particular areas of interest include Liposculpture, Breast Augmentation and Facelift surgery as well as Botox, Lip Augmentation, and Facial Rejuvenation. Surgery is always performed in hospital. 
 
His practice has a strong commitment towards patient education, with emphasis on the benefits and risks of surgery to allow sensible and well-informed decision making by his patients. 
 
Doctor/Patient relationship 
 
According to Dr Rastogi, "The relationship between surgeon and patient is very important. The patient must feel comfortable to discuss his or her expectations, desires and fears with the surgeon and must feel confident with the surgeon's technical ability and standard of care". 
 
Artistic skill 
 
"To achieve beautiful and natural results, the Doctor must be both skilled Surgeon and Artist. An understanding of beauty, harmony and balance are essential", says Dr Rastogi. 
 
Quality assurance 
 
Dr Rastogi's practice has an ongoing quality assurance programme. A recent independent study of 130 consecutive patients by Roy Morgan Research (of Morgan Gallup Poll), showed that over 90% of patients had their expectations exceeded (38%) or met (52%) at surgery and overall patient satisfaction rate was 98% (based on patient recommendation).
