Set high on a hill with spectacular views to Mount Warning, Springbrook and the Cougal Mountains, Hillcrest Retreat offers a choice of one honeymoon cottage or two bed and breakfast suites to discerning couples looking for a peaceful or romantic getaway, honeymoon destination or just to relax for a few days or longer. As a couples only escape, Hillcrest does not cater for children or pets, although there are horses, miniature ponies, small dogs and chickens on the property.
Although Hillcrest is centrally located to a range of activities, including golf and horse riding, and beauty spots, including 5 World Heritage Listed National Parks, rainforests, beaches and more, as it is set well back from a no through road on 5 acres in the middle of a 165 acre farm, the property itself is very peaceful and quiet. Solar heated salt-water pool, garden furniture, hammocks, poolside gazebo where you can enjoy a massage or candle-lit bbq, air-conditioned rooms and cottage, open fireplace and real wood fire all ensure you have a comfortable and peaceful holiday at any time of the year. Breakfasts include crusty home-baked bread and free range eggs from the Hillcrest chooks, whilst information booklets provide details of local eateries for lunch and dinner if you don't wish to dine-in. Of course the Cottage has it's own fully equipped kitchen and gas bbq, so if you wish to stay in your completely private and secluded world you can self cater in the cottage. |
