Mick Goodwin 
Managing Director 
Mick has had 15 years’ experience in the I.T. industry. Mick has worked for Telstra, Swiss Banking Corporation, Rothschild Australia, MTG Consulting (Midas Technology Group) and Absolute Business Systems. Fuelled by a desire to provide his clients with the highest level of customer service possible, he began his own I.T. consultancy. 
 
 
 
Mick’s areas of expertise are: 
 
Network Operating systems. Microsoft Windows platform (NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows 2003) and Novell Netware.  
Desktop operating systems. Microsoft Windows (3.1, 95, 98, ME, NT 3.51, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP).  
Network design and auditing.  
Network security and virus protection systems.  
System integration.  
Wide area networking, switching and routing. i.e. connecting multiple locations to the one system.  
Internet integration. Firewall and VPN solutions (Linux, Windows and hardware).  
Microsoft Exchange versions 5.5, 2000 and 2003 and Novell Groupwise 5 and 6.  
Project management.  
 
Julie Goodwin 
Director, Sales and Marketing 
Julie oversees the quoting and purchasing of hardware and software. In this capacity she is always researching new products and ideas. Her marketing role keeps her in contact with our clients and their objectives. Her goal is to keep Loyal I.T.’s service as personal and customised as possible while still offering efficient, reliable and professional service. Julie also takes care of Loyal I.T.’s philanthropic efforts and ensures that our company gives as much as possible to the local and wider community. 
 
 
Lyn McKenzie 
Office Manager 
Lyn brings to the Loyal team over twenty years of office admin experience. She handles our accounts as well as being a strong administrative support to the rest of the team. Lyn has tackled OH&S compliance and arranges staff training. Lyn facilitates warranty returns, organises the consultants’ calendars, and plays a key role in developing internal business systems and procedures. Her knowledge, customer service ethic and enthusiasm are an asset to the company. 
 
 
Anthony Barr 
I.T. Consultant 
Anthony brings to Loyal I.T. twelve years’ experience in IT systems. He has a very strong customer service focus and carries out his role with the professional and thorough attitude that our clients have come to expect. Anthony’s background is a varied one. His areas of expertise are as follows: 
 
Network Operating systems. All flavours of Microsoft Windows and Novell 5.0 and 6.0.  
Desktop operating systems. Microsoft Windows.  
Terminal Services and Citrix Metaframe.  
System design, and documentation.  
Project management.  
 
Michael Trimblett 
I.T. Consultant 
Michael brings over 8 years experience in Information Technology specialising in the dental and specialist medical fields. He has a Certificate III in Information Technology, Certificate IV in Information Technology– PC Support (Distinction) and Certificate IV in Information Technology– Network Support (Credit). He also recently completed Microsoft’s Certified Professional in Small Business Server. His energy and positive attitude, along with a strong service focus have made him a respected and valuable part of the Loyal team.

Jason Irwin 
Cisco Specialist 
Jason has worked with us on many occasions where his extensive knowledge of Cisco systems is required. He truly is the guru in this area and we are honoured to consider him a part of our team. 
 
Rick Broome 
Software Analyst/Programmer 
Rick is degree qualified in applied science (computing science) with 20 years experience in the IT industry. Rick's areas of expertise are: 
 
Windows Software Development: Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Visual Dataflex  
Database Design & Development: Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Btrieve, etc  
Data Analysis  
User Interface Design  
Desktop Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows (3.1, 95, 98, ME, NT 3.51,NT 4.0, 2000 and XP)  
Ricks' projects range from accounting system modifications, and small stand-alone applications through to larger turnkey solutions using client/server SQL technology. Rick has worked closely with Mick Goodwin for the past ten years. He has consistently demonstrated his abilities to understand and translate business needs into fully functional software applications. He is held in high regard by peers and clients alike, and is considered among the best programmers in the industry.
