Shine Lawyers is Queensland's leading plaintiff law firm with offices in Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Mackay, Redcliffe, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Townsville. 
 
But it wasn't so long ago that we started out as a small general practice in Toowoomba, west of Brisbane. In the early eighties we only had a handful of staff but today we have grown to employ around 100 people. 
 
Over the past few years, we have conducted some high profile cases, including sexual abuse matters at major private schools and churches, the McDonald's "McMatch and Win" controversy, and the Toowoomba Prep School case which sparked the Peter Hollingworth scandal.  
 
However, the vast majority of our cases involve everyday people with claims against their employer, their car insurer or their doctor.  
 
But we don't shy away from tough cases, and that's part of our culture. 
 
Most other personal injury firms are content to only take on the easy cases, and enjoy the easy victories. But that's not what we are about.
