Born in 2003 Samuel Burns Photography started life shooting a variety of commercial and advertising photography projects. During this time Samuel has shot for some of Australia's largest companies and agencies and received numerous accolades for his photographic abilities. Driven by a desire to evolve and stay fresh Samuel has evolved over the years and, as of 2010, following a desire to move away from the ego driven world of advertising Samuel made the move to wedding photography.
"I resisted shooting weddings for years as I bought into the stigma attached to being a wedding photography... and with so many poor quality wedding photographers out there I frowned upon the quality of work being produced in that industry" After following a friends advice however Samuel tried his hand at wedding photography and knew immediately it was what he had been searching for. "I came to realise that I could bring my creative background into my wedding photography, I could put my unique flavour on my work and stand out as a fresh and unique option in a world full of average photography"
As of 2010 Samuel Burns has focused exclusively on shooting weddings and aims to do so in a fun, relaxed, photojournalistic manner. Although not your average wedding photography Samuels work will appeal to those looking for something different, those looking to capture the story of their wedding day whilst having a fun time doing so.
