T.H.Cock Pty Ltd is one of Queensland's oldest Electrical Contracting companies established in 1933 by Thomas Harris Cock and operating from their base in Lutwyche. The company holds the No. 8 License issued to Electrical Contractors in Queensland. The company quickly gained wide acceptance in the domestic and industrial market due to its focus on customer service and quality of its work. 
 
In 1960 his son Brian (an Electrical Engineer) joined the company and upon the death of the founder in 1964 assumed the reins as Managing Director. In 1975 saw the base relocated to larger premises in Burdett Street, Albion and the business still operates from that address. 
 
Under the Leadership of Brian Cox the company prospered and expanded its operations. His innovative advertising and the will to accept new challenges was never more evident that when T.H. Cock became the first Queensland Electrical Contractor to indenture a female apprentice. By the 1980's the company began to focus more on the commercial and industrial sectors of the electrical market and built up skills in the maintenance and installation of large industrial plants and automatic control systems. Data Cabling and Security Systems also continued to be at the forefront on the companies expansion.
